Find the Right Mortgage For You
You can find which mortgage is the right one for you.
Just enter your own details into the form below and search for mortgages which match your criteria – this involves entering your details in ‘Requirements’, ‘Property and Income’, ‘Refine’ and clicking ‘Search Now’.
More details on how to do this can be found by clicking on the ‘Step By Step’ arrow above.
The table below this allows you look at mortgages from a wide range of lenders, showing all the best deals currently on the market split into a number of categories. This allows you to do your research on the site before putting your details in and finding the exact mortgage that is right for you. This information is the same as that used by mortgage brokers all over the UK and is always kept up to date.
In ‘Requirements’ enter what type of mortgage you want, including if the mortgage is to buy a new house, a remortgage on an existing property or a further advance, the type of mortgage (residential or buy to let), and details on how you plan to repay – capital and interest, interest only or a mixture. Also enter details on the value of the property, the amount of mortgage and deposit required. Use the arrow > to move to the next screen or click on the middle tab.
In ‘Property and Income’ enter the property details the mortgage relates to, including type of property (house, flat, etc.), if it is to be your main residence or not, location and details of ownership. We ask for the gross income (before tax) of one or both applicants to assess affordability and checks for any history of credit issues. Use the arrow > to move on or click on the third screen.
The ‘Refine’ section allows you to change what appears in the results of your search. Hovering over the ‘i’ highlights what the selection will include. You can select which different types of mortgages are shown (e.g. variable rate where the lender can vary the interest rate). You can also decide what amounts should be shown to pay in the results and which lenders and products should be included in the search. Clicking the ‘Search Now’ button then searches the full range of lenders and shows the outcome.
