Planning is the key

Inheritance tax

Inheritance Tax (IHT) can be a major issue. Unless you plan carefully all your assets could eventually become liable to IHT. The value of estates above the threshold of £275,000 in 2005/2006 are taxed at 40%.
After all the taxation in your lifetime, the Inland Revenue demands the final say with IHT.

A bespoke solution to inheritance tax is necessary as it will depend on the circumstances of each case. A range of inheritance tax solutions are available which, individually or in combination, can meet most people's objectives and circumstances, and achieve a great deal.

Individual independent advice is essential. If you would like us to review your situation -please e-mail us for further information.

Levels and bases of, and reliefs from, taxation are subject to change.
